Knitting a Prayer, One Stitch at a Time   Leave a comment

Today, I was saying a prayer with every stitch that I knit.  A few stitches in, the phone  would ring and it would be my brother, my friend, my cousin, my friend, my aunt, my friend – well , you get the idea.  I so appreciate all the good thoughts, phone calls, the text messages, the emails.  A few more stitches knit.

Dad is stable.  My cousin who saw him, said that his color was good and that he was comfortable as can be expected.  My Mom said that he squeezed her hand.  I’m hopeful.

So, I’m calling it an early night.  I’m going to knit a few more stitches and hope that my Dad knows how much I am praying for him and how much that he is loved.
