Knitting on Socks and other things   1 comment

I spent most of the day getting the house ready for my post op recovery.  I’m almost done.  The only thing I have left to do is to stock the house with food and drink.  Next weekend.  Groceries, supplies and goodies.  Everyone needs a few goodies.  Oh, and I need to wind yarn, gotta have the yarn.

I knit on the new sock while watching season 5 of Dr. Who and am getting ready to turn the heel on the first sock.   I’m really pleased with how it is turning out.  The yarn is quite yummy and some of my favorite colors.

Is it bad that I’m already thinking about the next pair to be knit?   I think I already have yarn picked out.   I’m getting curious what the patterns will be for February for YOSS.

Another thing I did today was to organize my patterns.  I purchased this binder and let me tell you, it’s chock full and I need to get a second one.  I can’t believe that I have so many patterns and there are so many more that I don’t have and want to knit.  They are like yarn and they just multiply.

I’m going to finish my night by turning the heel and getting things ready for the week.  I hope you all have a great night.

  1. You are so speedy!

The February patterns for YOSS will be mittens (Christa’s picks), along with a plain vanilla sock. I’ve already picked out the March YOSS sock patterns. 🙂
