And then it was love……   1 comment

So now it’s love 🙂  After carefully knitting each row on Haruni, it’s finally clicking and is coming along.  I’m about 1/3 of the way through chart A.  I’ve been crazily knitting it on the subway and it’s so not subway knitting.  A certain level of concentration is needed.  A level that you really can’t get on a crowded, noisy subway car.  When chart A is complete, I will post a picture, but not until then.

Here’s  my current spinning in progress.  Still with the J. Knits Merino Roving.  I’ve got about 1 1/2 ounces left and then will spin up the other 4 ounces to a separate bobbin and ply them together.

This is love.  I have been really enjoying spinning and could do it for hours on end.  It’s very calming.  I never thought that I would like it so much as it was so frustrating at first.  I suppose it’s true what they say, practice, practice, practice.

OK, time to get a few more rows of Haruni in before bedtime.  Have a great night everyone and Happy Knitting and Spinning!!!
