A Shawl Grows in Brooklyn   4 comments

I wound this skein up Wednesday night before going to bed.

On Christmas Eve, I cast on

By the time I went to sleep, it had grown.

And as of Christmas Day it continued to grow.

On Saturday at midnight, it grew some more:

I have one maybe two repeats left before I add the edging. I hope to have done by New Years Day end.
Here are the specifics: WendyKnits Talisman Shawl
I’m using Wollmeise 100% Merino Superwash in the Thriller colorway on a US 5 needle.
I have to say the flash makes the yarn look a lot brighter than it is and the last picture represents the truest color of the yarn.
It’s time for me to go back to the knitting, the goal for the day is to knock out another repeat. Have a great day everyone and Happy Knitting and Spinning!!!
