Yesterday I finished the first Kiwi sock. I’m not as excited about these as I was with the Watermelon, however, the seeds appear to show in the photograph, so it makes me a little happier about it. I’m in the foot of the second sock and expect it to be done quickly.

I also started and worked on the Catherina Shawl for my Mom. The Dream in Color Smooshy is just that, a dream. I love the spring that it has as I’m knitting it up. I’ve just started the lace pattern on this shawl (not shown in the picture). I am hoping, but not guaranteeing to have this done for when I go home for Thanksgiving. My confidence is a little boosted for this deadline by the fact that wrong side rows are knit, not purled. Should make for a quicker knit.

With today’s day off, I spent it at Knitty City as I had mentioned yesterday and came home to watch baseball. Specifically, The Boston Red Sox. I’m hoping to see them once again in the World Series.

I will spend Saturday knitting at The Point. Stop on by, it’s a great place to sit, knit, eat, and socialize the day away.

I’m back to the game and to knitting. Have a great night and Happy Knitting!!!
