It was a really busy day at work. I thought the day would never end and at the same time it seemed to fly by quickly. Strange how that happens. Hopefully the next four workdays will be the same.

After work, I headed to the west side to Knitty City to return the yarn I had purchased for my Dad’s vest. I loved the green of the yarn, but it just wasn’t working for me splitting every other stitch. In exchange, I picked up two skeins of Koigu in a delicious shade of pink. Sort of reminds me of bubble gum.

I managed to finish my homework for the toe-up class I’m taking with Wendy and get in a few more rounds of the vest for Dad.

While at the shop, I was visiting with my friend Maddy and we met Matt who was making and designing the most gorgeous cabled sweater. Hopefully we’ll see that pattern soon. I think it would look gorgeous on my daughter.

The Red Sox pulled off a victory tonight against the evil empire (at least that’s the way they will always be to me!) and now they are on the way back to Boston to face Texas over the weekend. Hopefully, at least one of those games will be televised here in NY.

It’s another long day on Friday, so I’m off to sleep, the pillow calls. Have a great night everyone and Happy Knitting!

PS – Thanks to all that have donated thus far to RFB&D. We’ve now raised just over $400 for an amazing organization. There is still time to enter before the end of the month and some great prizes to be raffled off.
