Today, I spent the morning knitting on Wicked. I accomplished much before I left the house for the day and I will have pictures soon. I’m very happy with how it’s turning out.

Jo asked: “Which is a truer colour pink for this project? The picture two posts ago was quite a bit lighter.” Looking at both pictures now, I’d say the picture from the 28th is more accurate. I know in te first one, I didn’t use the flash and I saw that it was a bit more muted than it really was. To me, the yarn gets prettier and prettier with each passing day. I’m looking forward to wearing it.

This afternoon, I met my girlfriend, Fidencia and we went to see La Vie En Rose. Marion Cotillard was superb as Edith Piaf. I very much enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to anyone. The music was wonderful. I’m going to have to pick up the soundtrack the next time I’m in the store. Edith Piaf was a knitter. In the movie, she was interviewed and she was asked what she was knitting. Her response: “A sweater for anyone who will wear it” Loved it!!! Her voice was magnificent. What a vibrato she had.

After we had dinner at Spice. Good food, good times. I behaved, no desert. I stopped at Whole Foods after and picked up lots of vegetables to make a vegetable stew to have for dinner next week.

Off to do more knitting. Have a great night and happy knitting!
