Ken and Iris – a fun combo   Leave a comment

Wow!!! I got a mention on Ken Jennings blog – woo hoo!!!! I guess it pays to let my inner geek out once in a while.

On the knitting front, I’ve really just been knitting on the subway. I’m creating a lovely scarf/belt using Iris Schreier’s pattern for the Multi Directional Scarf and some Noro Sakura that I had around the house:

I especially love that about every two or three yards there is a burst of color in this yarn:

This gives it such a fun characteristic. That and the triangles that are being created via Iris’s pattern. It gives the illusion that I am using many yarns rather than just one single yarn.

Lastly, I’m going to attempt to learn to do the socks. I’ve ready so much about them here, here and here that I have to try. It will make a great subway project. šŸ™‚

Happy knitting!!!
